New people expect to win the first time???

Tonight, playing bingo, I hear a gal that is brand new to bingo complaining that her numbers just didn't come up. It was her first time but she was complaining like the pros! It was very amusing. Guess she needs to get used to it. Just like the rest of us! LOL

 

I needed a G for the $1000 game. 4 different G's came up and someone else won...a new person at the hall! I complained good naturedly. But I wasn't as good as the brand new gal!

Busy Night for Elks Bingo in MV

Wow, Wednesday was a busy night for the Elks Lodge in Mission Viejo. They had a fun crowd, pumped up by the closing of El Toro Bingo. Will Irvine Bingo be crowded on Saturday?  Irvine has some nice half-time giveaways so good luck in the drawings!

El Toro is closed...for now

Well, El Toro Bingo is closed for now. The story is that the rooms where we play are being remodeled. When it is done the rooms will be chopped up into smaller rooms so there is no room for bingo. The gym is always booked so that is out. If there is a place you know of in Lake Forest that will support about 150 people playing and the equipment, let them know. ETHS bingo has been around 14 years! I am so sad to see them go. It is my favorite bingo, the workers are so nice and the people that play are very fun. I will miss it. I went out with a bang tho, hit a win on a pulltab AND got to say bingo! Whoo hoo.

 

Well, guess I will frequent Irvine Bingo and/or Elks Bingo in Mission Viejo more often. See you there!

El Toro Bingo Closing???

I just got the word that El Toro Bingo in Lake Forest, CA at the El Toro High School is closing. I hear the school is remodeling so they have to close it. Thursday, April 6, 2006 is their last night. Guess I will skip school and attend. Boy will I miss it! I have been going for well over 10 years and I know folks there that have come since the opening!

I haven't heard if it will reopen after the remodeling. I sure hope that is the plan. I will let you know more on Friday.
